Service Update: Issue with Ford security access has been resolved.

Following our recent communication regarding the Ford security access issue, we are pleased to confirm that our access has now been reinstated and Ford services are back to business as usual for us.

We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding while we worked through this situation, and we also apologise for any disruption this may have caused.

Please be aware that as we work through the backlog of jobs, there may be slightly longer wait times than normal, so we appreciate your understanding when connecting over the coming days.

It is also important to note that when SERMI goes live on 1 April, businesses will need to be SERMI-registered in order to continue accessing security-related functions such as key programming and immobiliser work. Ford is one of 19 manufacturers currently signed up to the scheme.

Even though our access has now been restored, once SERMI is active, we will only be able to carry out these services for businesses that have the required approval in place.

If you have not yet started the SERMI registration process, we strongly encourage you to do so to avoid any disruption once the new system goes live.

Thank you again for your patience and continued support.

If you have any questions about SERMI or require further guidance, we strongly recommend contacting them directly: https://sermi.co.uk/contact-us/
