We're pleased to share that we recently completed a Heater Plug Configuration on a Renault Megane, and this procedure has now been added to the growing OSCA application list.
A heater (glow) plug configuration is often required after replacing glow plugs or related engine management components. This process ensures the vehicle's ECU correctly recognises and controls the glow plug system, helping everything operate as intended. In many cases, dealer-level diagnostic software is needed to carry out these checks and configurations accurately - but that's where OSCA can help.
Completing this procedure is an important step in preventing warning lights, starting issues, and recurring faults following repairs. If communication problems or glow plug circuit faults are present, the configuration may not complete until the underlying issue has been resolved, potentially adding time to the repair process.
Fortunately, in this case, no additional faults were found, allowing the configuration to be completed quickly and helping our customer's vehicle get back on the road without delay.
