Important changes are coming to the OSCA 1.0 platform that will affect your use of the original vehicle interface with a physical micro-USB or USB-C connection to an Android tablet. OSCA 2.0 (ethernet port on the side) use is not affected. Take note of the upcoming changes, how they will affect you, and the necessary actions you need to take to continue using our services.
Starting from January 2024, the app will no longer be supported due to technical improvements to the platform. Instead, you will need to switch to a new app called OBD support, which functions the same way as the OSCA app and will be familiar to you. The changes are only happening behind the scenes and will not affect the usage of the app, only the appearance.
As an OSCA 1.0 customer, we're thrilled to offer you a fantastic opportunity to upgrade to the latest OSCA 2.0 version at a discounted price. This is your chance to stay ahead of the curve and enjoy the cutting-edge features of the new edition of OSCA. Take advantage of this amazing offer to keep up with the latest advancements!
We're sorry to inform you that the OSCA 1.0 is incompatible with the latest DoIP communication systems built into many new vehicles. This is because the OSCA 1.0 was developed before these vehicles were released.
However, we're pleased to inform you that OSCA 2.0 is fully compatible with these new communication systems. This means we can offer you the high-quality service you expect from us, even on the latest vehicles.
We are making some changes to improve the performance of the OSCA app. These changes aim to reduce connection latency, enhance the overall reliability of stable connections, and allow users to complete more tasks even when the network stability is poor. The OSCA 1.0 does not have an ethernet cable port, which is a crucial feature available in the OSCA 2.0 for connecting to a landline router. Thus, the changes are particularly relevant to OSCA 1 users.
You can download the new app from the Google Play Store. The app looks the same as before. However, please make sure that your Android device is updated to version 8.0 or later. To download the app, please click here - OBD support app.
We understand that some long-term users might not be familiar with Android other than using the OSCA app. If you need help with the process, please contact us at 01159342968 between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM from Monday to Friday. We will guide you through the process, which should not take more than 5-10 minutes.
